At our school library, we believe that reading is the key to unlocking a world of imagination and knowledge. Our library is not just a collection of books; it’s a vibrant hub for learning, creativity, and exploration.

Each class has visits timetabled for at least once a week, providing an opportunity for students to explore a diverse range of books and resources tailored to their interests and curriculum needs. Students can borrow 1 to 4 books, depending on their year group, for a period of two weeks and may renew these twice.

Our library is open at lunchtimes, Monday-Thursday, for reading, the issuing, renewing and returning of books and for playing board and card games.

During the year we run the Scholastic Book Club and hold an annual Book Fair. Sales from both Book Club and the Book Fair earn free resources for our library collection.

We have a library blog which showcases our new books, other events and has links to other websites helpful for homework or related to books and reading.
